sire v7 fretless review - BONGDATV

Considering buying a new Sire V7 or M7 2nd gen fretless. Anyone have one? V7 vs M7? I like the body shape and finish on a V7 more but the tones on this video of the M7 are really nice. Same with the Jazz bass there- which model is that?

The goal is a precision bass (acquired 2012 Fender MIA Standard Precision), a Jazz (Sire Marcus Miller V7), a five string (acquired Ibanez SR305 in obnoxiously awesome orange sparkle), a "modern" bass (acquired G&L L2000 Tribute), a short scale (acquired 1972 Gibson EB-3), and a fretless (to be acquired).

The Sire V7 preamp system provides a massive amount of tonal control, making it even more versatile than the original. It includes a 3-band EQ, with volume, tone, middle frequency and pickup blender dials .

The Marcus Miller by Sire V7 has a focused, full and round sound with an endless supply of bottom end available. The strings all sound very well balanced. The "G" strings sounds "bassy" in a musical way and the "B" string is clear and articulate.
